A stage adaptation of streaming film 1660 Vine has joined the catalog of theatrical licensor Music Theatre International. The work follows a group of social media influencers living together in a Hollywood apartment while they pursue their dreams of viral stardom. The film premiered on Broadway On Demand earlier this year.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) has announced that a stage version of the movie musical 1660 Vine has joined the MTI catalogue. A pilot production of the stage musical will be performed December 9-11 at Hollywood High School in Los Angeles.

1660 Vine—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be released digitally November 11.

A director with bicoastal credits and extensive experience developing new work, she will succeed NYTW’s longtime leader Jim Nicola.

The freelance director will succeed James Nicola, who has led the Off Broadway nonprofit since 1988.
